My compressed charcoal and charcoal pencil drawings submitted are part of my mini series called “Charcoal Trinkets” my work stems from my curiosity of Still life and the use of man made and natural objects. In my practice I particularly like to emphasize the use of light and dark, in these drawings I have also made use of artificial light to intensify the shadows and the reflection of the light source bouncing of the objects.

I am just coming up to the end of my undergraduate degree at Northbrook MET College studying Fine Art. So far my experience whilst studying this course I have had the opportunity to take part in a number of corridor gallery exhibitions that took place at the college as well as a solo exhibition which also took place at Northbrook
