I like a challenge and particularly like adding unexpected elements into my designs, such as movement. It took a while to figure out exactly how to allow the shoal to ‘swim’ but remain fixed inside the pendant. Then a lot of careful sawing and soldering – nerve wracking moment as those hours of work might be for nothing if it all gets stuck together, or melted under the flame!
The pendant was then given an antiqued finished and brushed to a soft sheen. On a sturdy silver chain given the same treatment. Hallmarked.
