Creativity is a key factor in all my work either as a fine artist or cartoonist.

As an artist I simply paint for my own interest and pleasure and try to create something that people will enjoy and respond to.

No subject is safe – a landscape, the human figure, a bunch of flowers. To this I will often include some form of creativity and produce something that is different and thought-provoking. Humour is also an inspiration.

Paintings are acrylic. Cartoons are created in Photoshop.

My original trade was product design. I studied at Worthing Art College. Worked for a major London design consultancy and then as a self employed designer.

I started painting in 1996. I’ve exhibited throughout the South East either as a solo artist or as a member of various art groups.
