Living on the Sussex coast, Jo Taswell’s work is inspired by the sea and landscape that surrounds me. Jo’s work embraces the Japanese aesthetic concept ‘Wabi-Sabi’ that finds beauty and serenity in landscapes and objects that are imperfect, such as natural decay, derelict buildings, industrial areas. Her work encourages the habit of taking time to look closer and to find the sublime in the ordinary.
