Jo Taswell’s artwork has been picked to represent the branding for the Worthing Festival and can be seen on banners, posters and social media sites whilst the festival is on in June. Living on the Sussex coast, her work is inspired by the sea and landscape that surrounds me. Jo’s work embraces the Japanese aesthetic concept ‘Wabi-Sabi’ that finds beauty and serenity in landscapes and objects that are imperfect, such as natural decay, derelict buildings, industrial areas. Her work encourages the habit of taking time to look closer and to find the sublime in the ordinary.
