Unlock the art of transforming photographs into stunning embroidered artworks. Embroidery artist Becky Edmunds will guide you through the basics in this playful workshop. Learn the techniques needed to stitch into paper or card, master a variety of stitches to create pattern and texture and put these skills to use to stitch a photograph.
This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, whether you are an embroidery novice or an experienced stitcher looking to expand your practice.
All tools and materials will be provided (including photographs) but feel free to bring your own embroidery supplies or photograph.

How many people are in each workshop?
There is a maximum of 10 people per course.
The workshop I am interested in is sold out; do you have a waiting list?
You can be added to the waiting list if you cannot attend, or the course is sold out.
I have paid for a place in a workshop but am now unable to come. Is it possible to have a refund?
We can only give refunds in exceptional circumstances. We will however offer an alternative date or course.
Are refreshments provided?
We will take a short break for tea and biscuits for refreshments.
I'm left-handed, can I still join in?
Yes, that will not cause any problems.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, all materials and tools are provided.
I'm not artistic can I still join?
Yes, absolutely everyone is welcome!
Is this course suitable for children?
Age suitability – Adults 18+ (16/17 only if accompanied by a responsible “paying” adult). Regrettably, as the teaching space, within the upstairs gallery, is limited, no accompanying children are permissible within the class.
