Alan Humphries

Alan Humphries is a local photographer who likes to take and sell his images of locations around Sussex. These images can be produced as prints, cards or on canvas.
Alan has lived in Southwick most off his life and has been a semi professional photographer for many years.

He has carried out many commissions for various people. For several years he was a volunteer photographer for the Shoreham Lifeboat with one of the images taken from the lifeboat winning a national competition. He has also had the pleasure of photographing some members of the Royal Family.

One of his best commissions was a photo shoot for the same company on two occasions from a helicopter but it was a bit scary having to lean out of the helicopter held in by a harness. Alan takes the images, processes them, and prints and frames them himself, he has had his work published in books and magazines and has sold his work to many countries around the world. He is also a Director of the Gallery that he founded with Kim Fuller in 2019.
