Discover the wonderful world of watercolour painting and learn to love your mistakes!

This comprehensive 3 hour course is the perfect way for beginners and more experienced artists to learn some watercolour techniques to paint a sunrise and sunset over water. We’ll also look at painting mini landscapes in 15 mins!

During the morning we’ll look at different techniques to create a beautiful sky and water washes, reflections, the sun and silhouettes using dry brushing, lifting out and wet on wet.

Step by step I’ll guide you to create two A5 landscapes using photos for reference materials. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of cityscape silhouettes to base your sunrise painting on – including Worthing!

By the end of the course you’ll have created lots of experimental work, two lovely A5 paintings and leave feeling more confident to paint sunsets, sunrises and silhouettes.

All materials are provided but please feel free to bring a favourite paint brush if you have one!
