Design, make and mosaic with your own handmade tiles in this hands-on two-part workshop.
Session 1 – Tile Making (2 hours)
Create a collection of unique decorative tiles using polymer clay. You’ll design your own shapes and surface textures, then enhance them with shimmering mica powders and small embellishments to add depth, pattern and personality. Your tiles will be cured and ready for the following week.
Session 2 – Ungrouted Mosaic (2 hours, one week later)
Return to transform your handmade tiles into a beautiful ungrouted mosaic artwork. You’ll learn how to arrange, balance and fix your pieces to create a finished design that highlights texture, colour and form without grout, allowing each tile to shine.
Suitable for beginners and creatives of all levels — a playful, tactile process with truly personal results.

Age suitability – Adults 18+ (16/17 only if accompanied by a responsible “paying” adult). Regrettably, as the teaching space, within the upstairs gallery, is limited, no accompanying children are permissible within the class.
