Russ Iden

Russ Iden has over thirty-five years of experience as an artist and works in digital and traditional art mediums.

Some of his specialties are designing and painting murals, painting in the style of artists such as LS Lowry and Vincent van Gogh as well as creating hand-painted bespoke ceramic plant pots and drawing cartoons featuring wimmelbilderbuch style detailed local scenes.

He has also designed a range of tea towel designs that make great gifts.



Studying at Epsom School of Art, he went on to work in Illustration, Photography and Design for a blue-chip advertising company.

Following a change of career, Russ has worked in various roles in Education from working with children with complex needs to being an Art and Photography Teacher, Art Technician, and Acting Head of the Art & Photography Department.

Russ is known for his bold, colourful designs and his murals, which can be found at various locations around East and West Sussex, Berkshire, and Surrey.

He is a two-time finalist in St Paul’s Worthing Portrait Artist of the Year Competition and this year was selected for the Shaun the Sheep Art Trail in Brighton. His cartoons have been featured on the cover of INSIDE magazine a number of times.

Russ is available for commissions for paintings, cartoons, illustrations and design as well as murals to add character and a personal touch to any interior or exterior.
