Larry Bray

The work Larry will be showing in the gallery will be wide ranging as it covers many genres of photography and he loves graphic close up images of colour and light as much as he does a wide detailed landscape. It will feature people, places, animals and things and will be drawn from local images which he is constantly capturing and his large collection of photographs from around the world, also being added to. He also has a small studio where he shoots still life and portraits. He uses tripods for some of his landscape and architectural photos but likes to shoot more freely and capture moments or light as he sees it.

 

Larry is based in Worthing and been a Commercial Photographer for over 40 years working on local, national and international projects, Larry is now concentrating on his own personal work and constantly shooting new images.

Earlier in his career Larry ran a large Photographic Studio in Brighton working for clients such as Bowers & Wilkins Speakers shooting room sets for their European marketing, Greens Cake Mixes for their packaging and Jones Shoes for their advertising. Larry also worked on location for a diverse range of clients including American Express, BP, Childline, NHS, National Farmers Union and over a five year period worked extensively for Cunard photographing their ships around the world for European marketing.

Larry has a real passion for photography, is self taught, still learning and likes to help others to improve and enjoy their photography and has therefore been involved in photographic education. He has run several adult education weekends, advised and help to set up and teach Park Camera’s Adobe Lightroom course and has been invited to speak on several cruise ships.
