In this relaxing session, you’ll learn about the Impressionist artist Edgar Degas, taking inspiration from his studies of ballet dancers. We’ll cover the fundamentals of drawing the figure in proportion before moving on to make some charcoal sketches in the style of Degas. No previous experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
By the end of the session, you’ll have a new understanding of Degas’ work and some beautiful drawings to take home! Suitable for all levels.
All materials provided. Please don’t wear your best clothes as you may get messy!
The class is taught by qualified art teacher and practising artist Linda Hardwick. She is passionate about helping everyone to find (or re-ignite) their creative spark!
