This playful workshop with artist Becky Edmunds is perfect for anyone interested in trying embroidery and developing fundamental skills and knowledge. You’ll learn a variety of stitches and experiment with them to create unique patterns and textures. We’ll also explore different types of thread and the essential tools used in embroidery. You’ll also learn about a range of embroidery techniques and find inspiration in the work of today’s contemporary embroidery artists.
All tools, materials, and thread will be provided, and at the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your own embroidery hoop, threads, and needles, allowing you to continue practicing and creating on your own.

Age suitability – Adults 18+ (16/17 only if accompanied by a responsible “paying” adult). Regrettably, as the teaching space, within the upstairs gallery, is limited, no accompanying children are permissible within the class.
