If you’ve been thinking of taking art classes my still life oil painting workshops are a great way to learn! As with any good art course there is a sense of progression through regular and honest application and effort.
I run regular workshops where each student will learn to paint a still life with my guidance. I can also adapt classes tailored to an individual’s needs, so if someone prefers to paint from a photo reference instead, that’s fine too.

How many people are in each workshop?
There is a maximum of 12 people per course
The workshop I am interested in is sold out; do you have a waiting list?
You can be added to the waiting list if you cannot attend, or the course is sold out.
I have paid for a place in a workshop but am now unable to come. Is it possible to have a refund?
We can only give refunds in exceptional circumstances. We will however offer an alternative date or course.
Are refreshments provided?
We will take a short break for tea and biscuits for refreshments.
I'm left-handed, can I still join in?
Yes, that will not cause any problems.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, all materials and tools are provided.
I'm not artistic can I still join?
Yes, absolutely everyone is welcome!
Do I need to wear special clothing?
Be sure to wear clothes that won't matter getting a bit dirty!
Is this course suitable for children?
Age suitability – Adults 18+ (16/17 only if accompanied by a responsible “paying” adult). Regrettably, as the teaching space, within the upstairs gallery, is limited, no accompanying children are permissible within the class
