In this workshop we will be using plants, fabrics and letter stamps to make some unique and beautiful pieces of pottery.

We shall start by making a decorative hanging, so that you get used to working with the clay and plants. Then we’ll move onto making a bud vase and a little pot using slab technique, with your textured clay. We will finish off making a little trinket dish.

After a coffee break, you’ll learn about the glazing techniques that I use when making my ceramics.

Due to the clay process, I will take away your pottery, dry it and fire it and glaze it to your colour specifications, however on the day I will bring along something that I’ve already made, so that you can glaze it.

Your pottery will be ready to collect approximately 3 weeks later.
