A monthly class run by Artist Michelle Dawson for people who would like to improve their drawing and experiment with a variety of materials and techniques.

For this class Michelle will be gathering late summer seed heads from her garden and further afield. We will first look at how to depict the spherical shape of a poppy head using tonal pencil drawing. We will then experiment with mixing different drawing media together to make lively observational drawings of a variety of different shaped seed heads.

Please bring; a sketchbook or cartridge paper at least A4 size. Soft pencils (2B or higher are good) and any other drawing materials you have! Michelle will bring plenty of willow charcoal for anyone to use should they wish.
