Artist Michelle Dawson loves to draw and paint, and enjoys sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm in her monthly Sunday Sketchers classes.

This class will focus on the popular technique of line and watercolour wash. Michelle will explain what she enjoys about this technique and why it is so useful for collecting observations quickly and easily on location. She will demonstrate the qualities of different types of pens before leading you through a line and wash drawing of a building step by step.

Please bring; A sketchbook or cartridge paper pad (at least A4 size), watercolours (either pans or tubes), a brush, a pencil and a waterproof fine liner pen. Water jars will be provided.

Michelle will have some pens available to buy on the day if you don’t already have one or are unsure what to get.
