Watercolour Autumn leaves
Every year Artist Michelle Dawson looks forward to the first Autumn leaves falling so she can collect a selection in varying shades of red, orange and brown and paint them in watercolour. Join her at this workshop to try this relaxing seasonal pastime. Michelle will demonstrate watercolour techniques of wet in wet to make a graduated wash, and wet on dry to add detail and texture.
Participants will have time to experiment with these techniques on watercolour paper. Michelle will then demonstrate the stages she goes through to paint a leaf.
After this, participants will choose a leaf or two to paint using wonderful, warm Autumnal colours.
