In this workshop Artist Michelle Dawson will share the joy she gets from observing flowers carefully and getting immersed in the process of watercolour painting. Michelle will demonstrate how she uses watercolour wet in wet to paint the shapes of petals, and then how she uses finer brushes to add details to stems and leaves.

There will be time to practice mixing colours and making watercolour washes before choosing a flower to study, draw and paint.

There will be a variety of colours and shapes of blooms to choose from.

All abilities welcome and materials will be provided.
