A fun introduction to the basics of lino printing, with local printmaker Melissa Birch.

During the workshop you will carve and print a simple design and be taught some of the techniques and materials needed to get started in this relaxing and enjoyable craft.

Everything you need will be provided, including images and ideas to get you started.

No experience necessary.

I have paid for a place in a workshop but am now unable to come. Is it possible to have a refund?

 We can only give refunds in exceptional circumstances. We will however offer an alternative date or course.

Do I need to bring anything?

No, all materials and tools are provided.

I'm left-handed, can I still join in?

 Yes, that will not cause any problems.

I'm not artistic can I still join?

 Yes, absolutely everyone is welcome!

Do I need to wear special clothing?

Please bring an apron and be sure to wear clothes that won't matter getting a bit dirty!

How many people are in each workshop?

 There is a maximum of 12 people per course.

Age suitability – Adults 18+ (16/17 only if accompanied by a responsible “paying” adult).

Regrettably, as the teaching space, within the upstairs gallery, is limited, no accompanying children are permissible within the class.

Students are responsible for safe keeping of their valuables and personal possessions within the space.

No liability can be taken for their damage or loss by the gallery or tutor.

Are refreshments provided?

 Tea or coffee, and a biscuit, is also included within the course fee at break time. Please feel free to bring your own travel mug or cup (to save on washing-up) and any alternative (non-dairy) milk products required.
