In this session you will learn everything you need to know about the reduction technique which involves carving the lino more than once and printing in layers – it’s fascinating, absorbing and hugely satisfying once you have learnt how.

The technique can be used successfully with either complex or very simple lino cuts, so all levels of experience are welcome to join the workshop. Melissa is experienced in teaching complete beginners as well as those who already lino print but want to find out more.

During the session you will produce several colourful prints to take home. Everything you need will be provided including images and ideas to get you started.
