Do I need to bring anything?
No, everything is provided.
Do I need any previous experience?
No, we assume all are beginners, but we can tailor the course accordingly to any experience.
I have terrible hand writing can I still do it?
Of course! Your handwriting style will not effect how your learn calligraphy, although you may find your handwriting improves as a bonus side effect!
I'm left handed, can I still join in.
Of course, I have taught many lefties!
I am not artistic in the slightest, will I be any good?
Learning calligraphy is like following a set of instructions and then practising. Learning the rules so you can break the rules! you do not need to be artistic or creative to get fabulous results.
How many people in each workshop?
There is a maximum of 8 people per course.
Can children attend your workshops?
Children are welcome from age 10yrs onwards for dip pen & ink. Age 7yrs and upwards for brush calligraphy and chalkboard lettering.
The workshop I am interested in is sold out, do you have a waiting list?

I have paid for a place on a workshops but am now unable to come, is it possible to have a refund?
We can only give refunds in exceptional circumstances. We will however offer an alternative date or course.
Are refreshments provided?
We will take a short break for a cuppa tea and biscuits for refreshments.
